Originally from Vancouver, Canada Lindley came to the UK in 1991 to train to be an Osteopath and Naturopath at the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in London.
She completed her studies in 1995 having achieved a BSC(Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in both Osteopathy and Naturopathy. She was accepted as a member of the General Osteopathic Council and the General Council and Register for Naturopaths. Further
studies included Cranial Osteopathy in 1998 and Medical Acupuncture in 2001 both at the British School of Osteopathy and a Diploma with Distinction in Nutritional Medicine from Rusland College in 2007. In 2015 Lindley became a registered Buteyko Breathing Practitioner and in 2017 she completed an advanced certificate in Medical Cupping Therapy from the British Cupping Society. During these years Lindley was employed as a clinic tutor,
examiner and lecturer at the European School of Osteopathy (1998-2008). She was also one of the main tutors in the Maternity clinic and for several years wrote and examined on the subject of Osteopathic Medicine.
Peter Horobin first joined the Maple Clinic as a new graduate where he learnt and developed his skills working with Lindley for many years before furthering his academic studies in London. His academic training includes a Master of Science degree in Sports Medicine from University College London, Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy and Sports Injury and Massage Diploma. He recently returned and has created a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinic in the former Barclays Bank building in Farningham. The practice was officially opened in September 2019 bringing a variety of specialists together to offer evidence-based treatment and adopt a team approach to help each and every patient.
